Why do Tigi Discountinue products?

Basically because ingredients in shampoo's and conditioners need to be updated to stay in trend with new and current brands, Tigi over the years have always researched a huge amount into what ingredients works best for different hair types and working with the best technology they can bring you new and exciting shampoo's and conditioners which do not contain Sulphate (killer soap which will strip hair) they are infused with more natural ingredients which are kinder to the hair and enviroment. Tigi are constantly working on improving there ranges and this is one of the reasons why products are discountinued and new products are released.

Tigi introduce a new range of hair care products fairly often so we would also like to share all this information with our customers to keep them informed of whats new from the Tigi professional hair care range and what products are now being discountinued.

What is Sulphate Free? Most of the new Shampoo's from Tigi are now sulphate free, which is great for anyone who colors there hair, What is Sulphate Free?? Sulphate otherly known as Lauryl Sulphate is in most cleaning products, it is basically soap, but it is not great for hair or skin as it can be very drying and stripping, Most shampoo's which contain sulphate will strip color from the hair (even though they claim to be especially for colored hair) Tigi have launched many new ranges and updated most of there shampoo's so they do not contain Sulphate, they now contain natural ingrediants which are much kinder to the hair and also to the senses.

Tigi hair products are spilt into several ranges and each range has a variety of products depending on your hair type.

Foxy Curls Reviews
Tigi Bed Head Foxy Curl Mousse is a new product in the Tigi Bed Head range and it works really well with the shampoo, conditioner and curls contour cream in the range use all four products for the best results you will be really impressed with the results you will see. I was given this as a present, but at its high retail price i do not think that i would ever buy it myself.
TIGI Bed Head Foxy Curls curl activating mega-mousse is a great product and is used to give your fly away unmanagable curls the support that they need so that they keep their shape and style all day and night whilst still leaving your hair soft and with a shine whilst also protecting it from heat that damages your hair and makes it dry and then controls the frizz.

Tigi Headrush Shine Spray Review
Bed Head Head Rush by Tigi is a product that i have used for many years. Designed to give hair a shiny and glossy look bedhead have once again designed a product that does exactly that. The spray is lightweight and smells delicious!!! I use this product before i straighten my hair and after to give amazing shine and reflection.

Discountinued products from the Bed Head Range, Shine Junkie, Girls Toys, These Tigi bed head shampoo's and conditioner are being discountinued as of August 2010, Control Freak, Moisture Maniac and Self Absorbed, Tigi have launched Urban Anti-Dotes which have replaced these products, and will also be launching more Bed Head shampoo's and conditioners very soon, More Discountinued products in the bed head range are Dumb Blonde Shampoo and conditioner plus Brunette Goddess shampoo and conditioner

New Releases From the Bed Head Range, 'Some Like It Hot' released in June 2009, This range contains a Sulphate Free Shampoo, Conditioner and a Serum. This range is proving to be Tigi's bestseller for the summer time

New To The Bed Head range Launched April 2010 is Urban Anti-Dotes, This range is separated into 3 different shampoo's and conditioners which range from re-engerizing the hair to rescuing the hair

Type 1 is called Urban Anti-Dotes Re-Energizing which is level one condition, for normal hair which needs a pick me up.

Type 2 is called Urban Anti-Dotes Recovery which is level 2 and is for dry damaged hair which needs a moisture hit.

Type 3 is called Urban Anti-Dotes Resurrection which is level 3 and is for weak brittle hair which needs extra attention

New Release From the Tigi Bed Head Range - Styleshots Release Date October 2010

This range consists of 3 new shampoo's and conditioners, which have replaced some of the older ranges.

1 - Epic Volume which has replaced Superstar

2 - Hi-Def Curls which has replaced Foxy Curls

3 - Extreme Straight which has replaced Control Freak

Styleshots contain Polyquats which are tiny particles that turbo charge the formula to make hair more mouldable, plus benefit agents, each shot contains a blend of benefit agent (super nourishing ingredients)

Tigi Bed Head Colour Combat - Release Date January 2011

This new range has replaced Dumb Blonde and Brunette Goddess, the Colour Combat range still contains Dumb Blonde and Bruntte Goddess, but the formula has changed and this range now contains the new LockDown technology to help keep color lasting longer, this range also consists of the new leave in conditioners both from Dumb Blonde and Brunette Goddess

Tigi Bed Head Candy Fixations - Release Date August 2011

• Tigi Catwalk Product Range
  Tigi have recently released some new products to this range, called 'Your Highness' and 'Curlesque', Your Highness is a volume range and will be replacing the Catwalk Thickening shampoo and conditioner (now discountinued) 'Your Highness' is also replacing the catwalk mousse and volume lotions.
• Catwalk will no longer be stocking Oatmeal and Honey shampoo and conditioner plus Fashionista, although Tigi are going to release a new exciting range which will be replacing these products

Your Highness range released in Jan 2010 is for body and movement, fullness and shine, this range will help you to create a full, dramatic look, it is also sulphate free.

Catwalk Curlesque range is another brand new range (released April 2010) and is for curly, wavy or spiral hair, this range has replaced the curls rock range, and contains a sulphate free shampoo, conditioner, serum, mousse, leave in conditioner and amplifier, which all work perfectly together to create beautiful bouncy soft curls.

Catwalk Sleek Mystique Launched August 2010 This range is perfect for straight hair, but also covers all hair types so it's not just for straight hair, Catwalk Sleek Mystique contains 6 new products, a Glossing Shampoo, Calming Conditioner, Fast Fixx Style Prep, Blow Out Balm, Haute Iron Spray and Look Lock Hairspray, free from sulphate and infused with heavenly smells of Lychee and Japanese Honeysuckle, sleek has never smelt so good!

Tigi Session Series launched June 2011 - A series of high performance rapid response products designed to give extreme versatilitly backstage and beyond, go from runway styles to show stopping couture hair with Catwalk Session Series. Tigi Catwalk Curlesque Curls Rock Amplifier Review- This product is probably the most essential stying product if you have curly hair, Curls Rock Amplifier is absolutely amazing, for really curly hair it will add defination and seperation to the hair, and for hair which is wavy but would like to add more curl, simply scrunch the curls rock amplifier into damp hair and diffuse, this product really is magic, it will give so much curl and definition to the hair and you will have a beautiful mass of curls which you never thought you could achieve from a stying product.

Tigi S Factor Serious Conditioner Review - I first stumbled across the conditoner as a freebie and I have been I hooked ever since. its fantastic for dry, brittle and colour damaged hair

Tigi S Factor Flat Iron Spray Review - This Iron Spray is probably the best I have ever used, you only need to use a small amount of this as it really does go along way, I wasn't sure wheather to buy this at first but I noticed designer-beauty had an offer on £5 off, so I decided to treat myself and buy it, and I was really pleased with the results, I guess you pay for what you get and this Iron Spray is really good quality, smells nice too..
